Poor visibility in showers within 90 miles of slow moving front 29s
120w 29s 130w 31s 140w 30s 150w 34s 165w and second front 25s 159w
27s 157w 32s 156w, moving southeast 10kt to a low 989hpa near 31s
162w, moving south 5kt. Within 180 miles south of slow moving front,
east of 150w: easterly quarter 25kt developing next 6-9 hours. West
of 150w, north of 40s: clockwise 25kt around low, with gale as in
warning 141 and heavy easterly swell. Slow moving high 1028hpa near
42s 137w, extends ridges to the east and west. South of high and
ridges: northwest 25kt, with gale as in warning 140 and heavy
westerly swell south of 50s. Poor visibility in rain within 60 miles
of front 50s 146w 55s 160w 53s 170w, moving eastsoutheast 30kt.
Outlook following 72 hours:
ridge extending westwards from 40s 120w to 40s 140w then
southwestwards, moving slowly southeast. Southeast of ridge:
westerly quarter 20 to 30kt rising to gale at times west of 150w with
heavy swells. Low near 30s 165w slow moving until 111200z then
drifting southeast. About low: clockwise 20 to 30kt but 30 to 40kt in
southern semicircle with heavy swells. Elsewhere between low and
ridge: easterly quarter 20 to 30kt.
