Cunene River to Walvis Bay:
wind : S to se 5 to 10 becoming SW 5 to 10 during the morning.
Vis : good becoming poor in fog towards afternoon.
Walvis Bay to the Orange River:
wind : S to SW 10 to 15 becoming se 5 to 10 overnight.
Vis : poor in fog becoming good towards end of period.
Sea state: 2.5m, with SW swell.
Orange River to cape agulhas:
wind : se 15 becoming 20 in the north by end of period.
Vis : good.
Sea state: 2.5 to 3m, mainly WSW swell.
Cape Agulhas to east london:
wind : W to SW 10 to 20 but 10 to 20 by midday becoming se 10 to
15 in the evening. Se 15 to 20 west of mossel Bay from
midday.
Vis : good but moderate in showers and thundershowers east of
port Alfred at first.
Sea state: 2m to 2.5m, with a S swell.
East London to Maputo:
wind : SW 15 to 25 reaching 30 at times.
Vis : good but poor in showers.
Sea state: 2m to 2.5m with a E swell.
Mozambique channel:
wind : south 15s: S to se 5 to 15 reaching 20 in the south but
W to NW 5 to 10 off the Madagascar coast.
North 15s: NW 10 to 20 reaching 25 to 30.
Vis : good but moderate in showers in the north.
