Surface high pressure will slip off the southeast coast this evening allowing winds across the forecast waters to come around to the southeast overnight. Gradient will tighten a bit on Saturday between this high and an approaching cold front. Winds and seas will reach cautionary levels Saturday out of the south ahead of this front and then switch around to the northwest later Saturday night and early Sunday as the front passes through. Another period of cautionary winds and seas are possible Sunday night before high pressure builds east across the northern Gulf and weakens the gradient once again.
