Synopsis... High pressure over the Tennessee River valley will move east to the Atlantic coast by Friday in response to a cold front approaching from the west. The cold front will move southeast across the marine area Saturday afternoon...giving way to a strong northerly wind in its wake Saturday night through Sunday. A moderate to strong northerly wind flow will persist through early next week as high pressure gradually builds from the west.

Rest Of Today... East winds around 15 knots becoming southeast. Seas 2 to 4 feet.
Tonight... Southeast winds around 15 knots becoming south after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 feet.
Saturday... South winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest around 20 knots late in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Saturday Night... Southwest winds around 20 knots becoming northwest 20 to 25 knots and gusty late in the evening...then becoming north after midnight. Seas building to 6 to 8 feet. Numerous showers and thunderstorms in the evening...then chance of rain after midnight.
Sunday... North winds around 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Slight chance of rain.
Sunday Night... North winds around 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet.
Monday... North winds 15 to 20 knots in the morning becoming southwest in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 feet.
Tuesday... North winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots late. Seas 4 to 6 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet late. Isolated showers.
