Synopsis For Lower Atchafalaya To High Island Tx Out 60 Nm... Southerly winds will strengthen today as the pressure gradient tightens between high pressure to the east and low pressure northwest of the area. A cold front will move across the coastal waters Saturday morning...bringing gusty offshore winds and a chance of showers. Strong northerly winds will reach Small Craft Advisory conditions late Saturday into early Sunday in the offshore waters.
