Synopsis For High Island To Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 Nm... Patchy areas of sea fog may develop tonight. This fog will dissipate once the next cold front pushes off the coast during the mid to late morning hours Saturday. Expect strong offshore winds and building seas in the wake of the cold front Saturday into Sunday. A reinforcing front is expected late Monday night followed by an even stronger front Wednesday night or Thursday.

Saturday... South winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 20 to 25 knots in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 5 feet building to 5 to 7 feet in the afternoon. A slight chance of showers until early afternoon. A Small Craft Advisory will be required.
Saturday Night... North winds 20 to 25 knots. Seas 6 to 8 feet.
Sunday... North winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet.
Sunday Night... Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.
Monday... Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.
Monday Night... North winds 5 to 10 knots becoming northwest near 15 knots after midnight. Seas 2 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet after midnight.
