marine weather statement for Labrador issued by Environment Canada at
3:54 p.M. NST Friday 9 January 2009.

A trough of low pressure east of the district combined with a ridge
of high pressure over Quebec and Labrador will maintain strong to
gale force northwesterly flow over most waters into Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
mid Labrador coast and the northwest Labrador Sea. Marine interests
are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in effect for the
entire Labrador coast and the northwest Labrador Sea.
