Canada at 7:55 p.M. NST Friday 9 January 2009.

A deepening low pressure system over the southwestern Grand Banks
this evening will track northeastward across the southeastern Grand
Banks tonight then move off to the northeast on Saturday. Strong to
gale force easterly winds ahead of this system will shift to gale
force westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Grand Banks. Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray
warnings are in effect for the Strait of Belle Isle, northeast Gulf,
Gulf-Port au Port and the Belle Isle Bank western half.
