Synopsis... South to southwest winds will increase across the local waters today in advance of a cold front that will be approaching the region from the northwest by this afternoon. This front is expected to pass across the area early this evening through early Thursday. Surface high pressure will then begin to build into the southeast U.S. And across the Florida Peninsula by Friday.
